Founded in 2019 by Lisa Favreau and Lisa Guedel-Dolle, Azur is based in Marseille, France and committed to the sustainable creation of garments. Each piece is designed, cut, sewn, botanically hand dyed and hand pleated in Marseille, France. They use organic and fair trade cruelty free silk from India and vintage French cotton and linen. Their aesthetic choices are dictated by the materials, manufacturing processes and artisanal savoir faire that correspond with their ideals of working ethically, environmentally, and locally. Azur is constantly striving to improve their practices to adopt ever more respectful production processes.
